Welcome to the Illinois Chapter of the NFSA

Collaborate with peers to share strategic advice, solve challenges and develop new approaches.

The Illinois Chapter of the National Fire Sprinkler Association is dedicated to advancing the fire sprinkler concept throughout the state. The chapter works closely with the the Northern Illinois Fire Sprinkler Advisory Board to effect a widespread acceptance of fire sprinklers across the region.

From fitters to code officials, the Illinois Chapter is comprised of a myriad of disciplines dedicated to the fire protection industry, including fire sprinkler contractors, suppliers and manufacturers, engineers, and many more professionals.

The chapter achieves its goal of protecting The Prairie State by working with elected officials and other leaders to pass legislation beneficial to the industry. The chapter also works to educate fire professionals and the public with live fire sprinkler demonstrations and training for code officials. 

The chapter also hosts regular meetings for members. At these chapter meetings members get the opportunity to learn more about legislation, new products, and national news affecting the fire sprinkler industry.
