This is a virtual event held in partnership with the Texas Fire Protection Association.
Program: Evaluating the municipal or rural water supply serving a building is a key design feature when developing on-site fire hydrant supplies and fire suppression systems. The basis of this design is typically a fire hydrant flow test or some other prediction of available water supply. Capturing the static and residual pressure during flow conditions provides only a snapshot of the water supply performance in an area. Seasonal changes, demands over the course of the day, network maintenance, and a variety of other factors can influence the quality of the water supply test and impact the prediction of future capacity.
