All the Fire Sprinkler Professionals spoke in unity about their efforts to design and install quality fire protection products despite the challenging delays. Speakers also brought up the most recent shortages of raw materials such as palladium, neon gas, nickel that partially stem from the Russia & Ukraine Conflict. Transportation delays both internationally and domestically continue due to labor shortages, gas & diesel pricing, and overall decreased shipping quality control.
Texas State Fire Marshal Office Professional Engineer Kelley Stalder provided information and a link to the Texas State Fire Marshal Guidance on Supply Chain. All the speakers recommended increased forecasting by fire sprinkler companies to best be prepared for ongoing delays and shortages.
