This seminar describes the minimum inspection, testing, and maintenance requirements to help ensure a water-based fire protection system will operate properly in a fire event in accordance with NFPA 25. This requires all stakeholders to have a proper understanding of their respective roles and responsibilities as outlined in NFPA 25. An overview of the scope and purpose, and where to locate the minimum requirements for the periodic inspection, testing, and maintenance requirements in the standard will be provided. Participants will review the various tables utilized throughout the standard and learn of their proper application. The proper handling of impairments and returning a system to service will be provided.
