With a theme of "Carry On," the Florida Fire Sprinkler Association's annual Hawks Cay conference is in full swing. I came to learn how the dynamo behind this successful event, NFSA Regional Manager Lorrell Bush, continues to pull together top industry professionals to provide cutting-edge training for members. Aside from the fact that attendees at this conference will earn all of their annual state-required CEUs, the conference is known for its exciting vibe that lends itself to all participants getting involved.
The attached photo shows Lorrell and Florida Fire Sprinkler Association Board Member Greg Toledo receiving a Proclamation for Fire Safety Week from Chief John Gatlin. This is one of the examples of how Lorrell encourages involvement from all who work on the widespread acceptance of the fire sprinkler concept in Florida.
