Guest Speaker: Andrew Loeffelman, Vice President of Sales at Engineered Corrosion Solutions Engineered Corrosion Solutions (ECS) will present “Science of Corrosion in Fire Sprinkler Systems.” Key discussion points include the evolution of corrosion requirements from governing bodies, nitrogen inerting for dry/preaction sprinkler systems, use of automatic air vents on wet pipe systems, nitrogen inerting for wet pipe sprinkler systems, corrosion and gas monitoring options along with case studies. Andrew Loeffelman has spent eight years in the fire protection industry with experience in fire protection code compliance, corrosion, fire sprinkler corrosion assessments, and corrosion management product design. He received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. He joined Engineered Corrosion Solutions in January 2014, where he currently serves as the Vice President of Sales. His responsibilities include management of the ECS Sales/Engineering team and also ECS Product Sales/Support. Andrew is also a member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers.
